Math Is Used In Decorating.

When you decorate your house, you have to find out the length of the item you’re buying,and the length of wherever you’re gonna put it.

Another example is like with painting,say a gallon of paint covers a 9 X 11 wall. But your four walls are only 9 X 7 , how many gallons of paint do you need? you have to think about all these things when you’re decorating. Because you’re not going to want to have too much paint, or too little. If you want to stain a dresser, the same kinds of measurements have to go into account.

So say you are gonna buy a couch that is 5’6”. Your wall happens to be 7 feet long, luckily, you have enough room. But if you want to buy a sectional couch, you probably wont have enough room for the couch.

Another example is buying a frame for a picture that you want to use to decorate your family room, if the picture is 8 X 6 and the frame is 4 X 4 your going to have to  either cut it to size or find another frame with the same size.
